Dear Friend,
Last week we experienced the amazing power of
nature. As we pray with and witness the pain of all
the families affected by Hurricane Charley, we are
once again reminded just how frail we are as
humans. One day we enjoy all the beauty and warmth
that a summer day brings to Florida, and within
twenty four hours we see nature’s fury expressed in
its greatest power – a hurricane’s devastation.
Hurricane Charley did not make a distinction between
the large homes on Sanibel Island and the trailer
parks in Port Charlotte. Whether weak or strong,
rich or poor, all will yield to God’s ultimate
expression of power through nature. The apostle
Paul reminds us that God has revealed Himself to the
entire world through nature. Our life is so frail,
yet it has such infinite potential that at times it
does not make any sense outside of the belief that
there is an amazing God who loves His humanity.
I
look back through my life and many times I drop to
my knees with tears flowing from within my heart as
I ask God, “Why me Lord? Why did you love me so
much that you spared me from death so many times?
Why do you love me so much and grant me so much
favor when all I did was make you cry?” I cannot
answer these questions now, and I may never have an
answer.
On
September 3, 2004 I will be recording a national
prime time television program called Faith Under
Fire with host Lee Strobel. This program will air
on September 25, 2004, and it has the potential to
bring Coming Clean Ministries to an amazing new
level. Please pray that we will be ready as a
ministry to discern among all the opportunities that
a television program like this will bring. Pray
that we can even answer all the e-mails that will
come our way! Pray that I remain grounded in His
truth and that I represent my Lord in a manner that
will please Him.
My
friend, God is awesome and He has a plan for each
and every one of us. I believe that God does not
make His plan transparent to us until He sees where
our heart is, and how humble we are before Him. As
God continues to pour His favor upon CCM, it is my
prayer that we remain humble and available to Him.
God has positioned our ministry to impact the world
for Him. He has granted us amazing before our
modern day kings. It is my prayer that I follow my
dear friend David Mainz’ advice when he said that as
long as tears flow from your eyes, your heart will
remain tender.
Please pray for Coming Clean Ministries, my family,
and especially my children from my previous
marriages. Pray for Sujey as she supports God’s
call on my life. Pray for wisdom and unity for all
involved at Coming Clean Ministries, and pray that
we will discern where He wants us to go and what He
wants us to do.
God bless,
Jorge

Prayer Warriors!
I have just accepted an invitation to participate
in a nationally televised debate regarding the
legalization of drugs on Faith Under Fire, a new
talk/debate show debuting on PAX TV this fall. The
host, Lee Strobel, is a best selling author and
former award-winning Chicago Tribune legal editor.
I will be taping
the segment on September 3, and the show will air on
September 25, 10:00 PM WDT. Please hold me and
Coming Clean Ministries up in prayer. This is a
tremendous opportunity to advance Coming Clean
Ministries and the Kingdom!
